DoD Personnel Report High Job Satisfaction & Lack of Opportunities

According to a large survey of DoD personnel 76% are satisfied with their jobs overall, and 62% are satisfied with pay, while just 32 percent are satisfied with their opportunities for advancement.

The department's 2007 annual employee survey drew 63,202 responses and showed 73% agreed that supervisors support the need to balance work and family issues, 62
percent have trust and confidence in their supervisors, and 61% felt managers and supervisors work well with employees from different backgrounds.
